Cultivate self-compassion and compassion for others with activities rooted in self-care, community, and mindfulness. Sample activities may include a book discussion, yoga, and meditation, environmental stewardship/sustainability, and support of a local non-profit.
Come join us for a brief 5 week health class to cover basic health concepts for 5th -8th grade students. The class will cover physical activity, nutrition, goal setting, refusal skills, disadvantages of tobacco, drugs and alcohol as well as mental health strategies and social health of being a good friend and avoiding bullies. This class will be an interactive experience and will build lifelong health skills. Ages 10-14
Open swim time allows for homeschool students to practice their skills or just play and have fun. A parent/guardian must be present during class at all times. A certified life guard will be on duty. A public restroom and changing room is attached to the pool.
