This course introduces one to the range of contemplative practices beginning with meditation which includes the history, psychology, and philosophy, presenting the latest research on both meditation and mindfulness. We'll explore mindfulness including all mindful practices taught in schools, hospitals, and corporations There will be self reflection and journaling as a part of this course.
A course designed as half activity and half lecture. This will be a hands on experience with self care & stress management through the utilization of various types of mind body practices and other clinically relaxation techniques (autogenic, progressive muscle relaxation & more).
Classic Yoga posses, modern flows, and awareness all adapted to the use of a chair for additional support. Provides the stamina and flexibility of a traditional Yoga class. This course is for ALL levels. Chair needed.
