This course is required for those who want to obtain a driver's license. Provide proof of age (birth certificate, learner's permit, or valid passport) when registering. Copies can be mailed with the registration form or emailed to joreed@harford.edu. Students must be age 15 by first class session. * 30 hours of classroom instruction (ten 3-hour sessions) * 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction by appointment * Currently the classroom instruction is meeting virtually using Microsoft TEAMS. Students should include a valid STUDENT email at the time of registration. This email is used to access the virtual instruction. Students have 3 years to complete all requirements. Students who do not complete in 3 years will have to retake the class. This course meets the MVA GRADUATED LICENSING PROGRAM. Parent or driver coach requested to attend the first class session, mandatory for students. Optional for parents of students 18 and over at time of class. Senior adult and disabled retiree tuition waivers apply.
