That novel that’s been lurking in the back of your mind, the one your friends all say you should write, can now become a reality. Learn how to prepare your manuscript, the importance and advantage of Print-on-Demand (POD) companies, printers to avoid, formatting your writing for e-readers, and much more. A comprehensive take-home binder containing reference information provided for each participant. Get to writing - there is nothing stopping you! Do you want to write and pass on your personal story but need but getting organized? In this six-session class you'll work through determining which stories to include, choose from a variety of formats to present them, and learn literary techniques to bring them to life. Students will leave with a plan to write and publish your own life story.
Have you always wanted to write, or are you looking for a way to reinvigorate your writing? In this six session course you'll be introduced to a dozen journaling techniques and have time to practice and share your entries with other students. Bring a pen and your imagination, and leave with a booklet full of fresh starts for new pieces.
