Social Security Strategies for a Healthy Retirement
This class is necessary and timely for every person facing the future challenge of applying for Social Security benefits. There will be a review of Social Security basics, the health of the Trust Fund noting the pandemic, benefit planning strategies and how benefit timing impacts retirement decisions, and specifically on when and how to file to maximize benefits. Worksheets will be provided to attendees.
Taxes are a risk often not considered in the retirement planning process. The order in which income is withdrawn from your Social Security, IRA, 401K, non-qualified accounts, and long term and short term capital gains can significantly impact tax obligations. Learn how to strategically structure a retirement income plan to minimize your tax burden and diversity account tax qualifications to mitigate the enhanced risk of increasing taxes.
