With more than 90% of all companies utilizing cloud services, organizations need a workforce that understand cloud principles. This entry level course is intended for managers and support staff. The curriculum will prepare you to take the CompTIA cloud essentials certification. This certification is focused on the business end of cloud computing. Upon completion of this course participants will understand the basic principles of cloud computing; how cloud computing works in the business world; the roles and responsibilities of technical staff; and the governance, risk and compliance issues related to using the cloud.
CompTIA Cloud+ is a global certification that validates the skills needed to deploy and automate secure cloud environments that support the high availability of business systems and data. CompTIA Cloud+ is the only cloud focused certification approved for DoD 8570.01-M, offering an infrastructure option for individuals who need to certify in IAM Level I, CSSP Analyst and CSSP Infrastructure Support roles. This curriculum covers cloud architecture & design, cloud security, cloud deployment, operations & support, and troubleshooting cloud issues. Participants in this class are encouraged to take the CompTIA Cloud+ exam upon completing this course. The cost of the exam is not included in the course.
