In level two of the CST series, participants will learn and practice troubleshooting methodology to advance their troubleshooting skills. Participants will begin exploring operating systems and using virtual machines. Level 2 includes three hands on labs: Hypervisors & VM, OS & IP, and Peripherals & connectivity. Upon completion of this course, participants will gain the following skills installing, configuring, and troubleshooting operating systems, assigning IP addresses to devices on a network, installing, configuring, and utilizing a virtual machine. CST 1 and 2's curriculum covers the exam objectives for the CompTIA A+ Core One Exam. A Core One exam is included in the tuition. Students will have the opportunity to take this exam at the end of CST 1 & 2. Tuition waivers apply. One course material purchase required for use throughout the program.

Building on the knowledge learned in the PC Repair Technician Level 1, this course prepares students for the A+ core two exam. Skills gained include the ability to install, configure and maintain computer equipment, mobile devices, and software for end users. The curriculum covers security and network basics, as well as, provides an introduction to scripting, cloud technologies, and multi-OS deployment in corporate environments.
